I used the 2×4 bench plans found on the site. They worked great! I am a novice but if you can follow directions and think ahead this was very easy. I live in an apartment with limited workspace but was still able to pull this off over the course of a few nights and a Sunday.
I used a hand saw to cut down on the cost of getting a circular saw so the cuts are all very uneven but the bench plans are very sturdy and it feels solid. Now I just have to sand or paint it. Materials was about $35 for the wood, and maybe $60 for the nails, glue, sandpaper, tools etc. Thank you for the resources!
