Double Chair Bench – DIY Project

This was a fun project I did with my son. The cutting and assembly takes just a day but I spent the better part of a week with primer, paint, and polyurethane. It cost around $100 with the extra modifications (carriage bolts to attach the major subassemblies, wider arms, and a shelf under the table top). We also reversed the right and left legs to make the seats wider. I later added some seat cushions and an outlet strip on the lower shelf.
