We decided to get rustic with this design. No metal was used in construction, it’s put together with dowels and Gorilla Glue. I probably used the wrong wood, underground treated wood. My son and I had a lot of fun building this table. In fact, we bought a cut-off saw halfway through the project. That’s why it’s so rustic LOL
