DIY 8 foot Picnic Table
Â
I’m in Kentucky and the governor is getting ready to allow small businesses to open back up, however the businesses will have to limit the amount of people going into their business. However the small businesses can also have people outside for dining. I received a request to make 8 8ft picnic tables so I made my first one which took me a week to make. I used your plans for the basic structure and then made some modifications, plus i do cnc work and added the companies logo onto the braces of the table.
Also it took me longer to make because I also made some jigs so once i cut all the boards i can put them in the jig and bolt/screw them together. Your plans definitely make a sturdy picnic table. The cost of all the material for this table was 200 dollars at Lowes as I made the structure out of PT lumber and the table top and seats I made out if spruce which I applied a stain/sealer to. Thank you for having your plans out on the web.
