Building the faces of the bin

The first step of the project is to build the front and the back faces of the storage bins. Build the components out of 2×4 lumber and smooth the cut edges with fine-grit sandpaper. Drill pocket holes at both ends of the horizontal components and insert 2 1/2″ screws into the vertical supports. Leave no gaps between the components and add glue to enhance the bond of the joints.

One of the last steps of the project is to attach the caster wheels to the bottom of the bin. As you can easily notice in the diagram, we recommend you to fit the wheels to the corners of the structure. Lock the wheels into place using appropriate screws.
