This step by step woodworking project is about multi guitar stand plans. If you are a guitar player, you probably know how hard is to keep all your gear perfectly organized. That is why I have designed this simple to build a stand, so you can fit your guitars. You can adjust the size of the bench to suit your needs. See my other DIY projects HERE.
We recommend you to invest in the best materials you could afford. Therefore, you should buy weather-resistant lumber, such as pine or cedar. Always take accurate measurements before adjusting the size of the components at the proper size. Drill pilot holes trough the components before inserting the wood screws, to prevent the wood from splitting. See all my Premium Plans in the Shop.

Building a multi guitar stand
Build the side vertical supports from 1×6 lumber. Make the cuts and smooth the edges with sandpaper.
Build the base components from 1×4 lumber. Round the exposed corners with a jigsaw and smooth the edges with 120-220 grit sandpaper.
Fit the bottom supports to the side base components. Make sure you drill pocket holes at both ends of the 1×3 35″ long components and insert 1 1/3″ screws into the  sides. Add glue to the joints.
Attach the vertical supports to the base. Center the supports to the base, drill pilot holes and insert 1 1/4″ screws to lock them together tightly. Make sure you countersink the head of the screws, so you can get a professional result.
Build the neck support from 1×4 lumber. Mark the cut lines and get the job done with a saw. Smooth the edges with sandpaper.
Drill pocket holes at both ends of the neck supports and secure it into place with 1 1/3″ screws. Make sure the edges are flush and check if the corners are square.
Fit felt to the neck support, so you don’t scratch the finish on the guitars. Fill the holes with putty and smooth the surface with 120-220 grit sandpaper.
This multi guitar stand made from wood is easy to build and it has a really nice appearance. You can adjust the size of the project easily so it suits your needs and tastes.  If you like my project, don’t forget to SHARE it on Facebook and Pinterest.
