Built mine based on your initial design. It’s 3 feet tall by 12 inches wide. I added a cedar lined tack storage in the bottom to keep bugs and such away. I routed all the edges including the top pieces. I added the ball at the front by tracing around a spray paint can and cutting down a 2×4 on my crappy 3 wheel band saw(which broke in the process so I bought a new 9 inch).

I added the monogram initials for my girlfriend before I stained which was a bad idea considering the rustoleum carbon grey had to removed as fast as it went on to prevent completely staining it one color.

I designed the feet by tracing a roll of electrical tape. The embellishments are from the stairs section at Lowe’s. It was my first ever project and I bought the saws and tools to do this project and fell in love with wood working in the process. I have requests for a few from her clients at her barn and those will pay very handsomely.

I will make alot of better decisions on the next ones. I hand sanded it to give it the distressed look and finished with 4 coats of poly.
