DIY 2×4 Bench with Custom Backrest

 

My buddy and I used the 2×4 bench plans for a 5 foot garden bench. We decided to make a 6 foot beach instead. We used 2×4’s and used a piece of plywood for the backing and a 1×2 across the back for support. He used a jig saw to cut around the lettering and he added black for a drop effect and blue as a highlight.
