This step by step diy project is about greenhouse bench plans. If you want to learn more about building a rustic wooden table for your greenhouse, pay attention to this project. B – 5 pieces of 2×4 lumber – 27 3/4″ long SUPPORTS
C – 6 pieces of 2×4 lumber – 80 1/2″ long SLATS

7 pieces of 2×4 lumber – 8 ft
1 piece of 2×4 lumber – 10 ft
30 pieces of 2 1/2″ screws
glue, stain / paint

Fitting the supports

The first step of the project is to build the supports for the bench. Build the components out of 2×4 lumber, after taking accurate measurements. Drill pilot holes through the supports and insert 2 1/2″ screws into the legs and into the greenhouse studs. Plumb the posts with a spirit level and make sure the supports are horizontal.

Attaching the supports

Leave no gaps between the components and make sure the joints are rigid.

Fitting the top slats

One of the last steps of the project is to attach the slats to the supports. As you can easily notice in the diagram, we recommend you to drill pilot holes and to insert 2 1/2″ screws into the supports. Place a nail between the slats to get even gaps between the components.

Greenhouse bench plans

Last but not least, we recommend you to take care of the finishing touches. In order to get a professional result, fill the holes and the gaps with wood filler and let it dry out for a few hours. Check if there are protruding screws and fix this issue, if necessary.
