Building a Duck Blind Roof

This step by step woodworking project is about duck blind plans. This is PART 2 of the duck blind project, so you can get the job done in a professional manner. The front and back doors help you and your dog have an easy access to the shelter. The plans come with step by step instructions and you can easily adjust all the dimensions to suit your needs. See my other DIY projects HERE.

We recommend you to invest in the best materials you could afford. Therefore, you should buy weather-resistant lumber, such as pine or cedar. Always take accurate measurements before adjusting the size of the components at the proper size. Drill pilot holes trough the components before inserting the wood screws, to prevent the wood from splitting. See all my Premium Plans in the Shop.

This duck blind is compact enough so you can build it almost anywhere. Make sure you apply a few coats of camouflage paint over the components so you can protect the components from decay and to disguise it.
