Target Stand Plans

This step by step woodworking project is about target stand plans. This is a super simple target stand you can build in less than one hour using just 2×4 lumber. Cut the components to size and then assemble everything with 2 1/2″ screws. I hope you will enjoy my tutorial as much as I did making it! You can adjust the size of the target stand to suit your needs. See my other DIY projects HERE.

We recommend you to invest in the best materials you could afford. Therefore, you should buy weather-resistant lumber, such as pine or cedar. Always take accurate measurements before adjusting the size of the components at the proper size. Drill pilot holes trough the components before inserting the wood screws, to prevent the wood from splitting.

This is a basic target stand. You can adjust the size of the project easily so it suits your needs and tastes. Fill the holes with putty and smooth everything with 120-220 grit sandpaper before applying the coats of paint or stain. If you like my project, don’t forget to SHARE it on Facebook and Pinterest.
